from an Il-18 sales brochure
Aircraft Ilyushin-18
Lots of illustrations, cabin lay-outs for 75 & 100 seat versions and a cutaway drawing. Published for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair where the Il-18 won a gold medal. Curiously, the Russian text says the aircraft is equipped with four NK-4 turboprop engines of 4000 ehp each. This was indeed so on the prototype. The first Il-18 flight powered by Ivchenko AI-20 engines was on 17 September 1958, exactly five months after the Brussels Expo had opened.
